THE ANDERSON

The Anderson is a 16-unit boutique community located in the Heart of Hillcrest. This property boasts a mix of oversize studios and one-bedroom apartments and features include a community courtyard, bike storage, onsite laundry and secure access.

Originally constructed in 1912, the property has witnessed the changing neighborhood's history for over 110 years. Opening just a few years prior to the debut of Balboa Park, the property was converted into a hotel for a short period during the Panama-California Exposition.

The community boasts period details including original hardwood flooring, cast-iron bathtubs, built-in millwork and fireplaces. We have updated the interiors with new stainless-steel appliances, upgraded bathrooms, new windows, fixtures and other modern accents that evoke the history of the property while modernizing it for today's residents.
